Sierra's 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Sierra's 2nd Birthday at the Hensley's new house!! It was a lot of fun and the face painter was very talented. Aniela loved the big trampoline but Thomas said it was too bouncy for him.

Sunday Night Dip

We ended the week with a Sunday night swim in the pool. Sammy took his first full dip in the pool. He stuck his legs straight out and even kicked a few times.

Visit with the Millers

My college roommate and her family came to visit us over the weekend. We had a great time visiting with them and the kids loved playing around.

Busy Summer Week

It was a busy week as we tried to beat the heat and have fun. We had something planned every day but Monday!

Tuesday we went to Aniela's art class. While her and Sophia were in class Thomas and Lami swung on the swings and fed the ducks. We then headed to Mara's house for lunch.

Wednesday we did our regular swimming with the Arwoods and Midhas at the pool.

Thursday we went to Jumping Beans to burn off some energy and headed to Mellow Mushroom for some lunch.

Friday Aniela went to her first play date without me. While she was there Lisa dressed her up in some of her beautiful clothes and took some pictures for her website! While she was gone Thomas Sammy and I played outside and Sammy swung on the swing for the first time. Not sure he loved it but he didn't scream so I call it a success!

Four Months Old

Sammy turned 4 months old today! He is getting to be so alert and active. He started rolling over a couple of weeks ago and is doing really well at holding his head up. He is a happy little guy and loves it when people talk to him. He is definitely turning into a thumb sucker and often puts himself to sleep sucking his thumb. He also loves to suck his toes and curls up as soon as you lay him down. He is still sleeping through the night and cat napping during the day but that works for me! At the doctor he weighed in at 12 pounds 12 ounces (the smallest of my babies, the other two were 15 pounds at 4 months) and 25 inches. He loved his first visit to the beach and generally loves to be outside!

Four Months Old

Thomas is four months old and changing so much! He loves to smile, laugh and coo when you talk to him. His smile is so precious and it lights up his whole face. His eyes are not quite brown yet, they still have bits of hazel and grey in them. His favorite thing to do is grab anything and put it in his mouth ... including his toes!

At the doctor Thomas weighed 15 pounds and 26 inches long. He loves to lay on the floor and usually rolls right to his belly as soon as you put him down. In the mornings he is often turned completely around and on his belly.

Thomas' Baptism

Thomas was baptized at our church on August 23rd. He did very good in front of the church even when Jay placed the water on his head. We were blessed enough to have both of our parents there and all our friends.

We went to visit Sierra Grace at the hospital. Big brothers Sterling and Stone were excited to have a little sister.
