Maddie's 7th Birthday

Maddie had her birthday party on a farm this year. Aniela was of course quite timid as always around animals but Thomas took off and didn't stop running the whole time! The kids held bunnies that were 3 days old and baby chicks.

Two Months Old

Sam is now two months old and so happy! He has started smiling at us and using his voice to coo. He is especially happy after eating! At his check-up he weighed 10lbs 11oz. and was 23inches long. He has been stretching out his feedings at night to between 7 and 8 hours which makes us extremely happy! He loves when the kids talk to him but hates when they yell ... which is more often the case.

Easter morning was so much fun! The kids woke up excited for their baskets. Aniela told us the Easter bunny uses his ear as a key to get into our house while we are sleeping. After tearing through their baskets they raced around to find the hidden eggs. Then we headed to church.



After church we went to the Arwood's house for lunch and another egg hunt. Thomas was not too excited about this egg hunt instead he collected the cornhole beanbags in his basket but Aniela was all business!

Two Months Old

Thomas is now two months old! He is getting so big and is very alert. He loves for us to talk to him and is starting to laugh and coo. He has been sleeping through the night for about a week and we keep waiting for it to end but hopefully he will keep it up. At his checkup, he weighed 13 pounds 3 ounces and was 23 inches long. His favorite thing right now is the bath and being stretched out on the floor so he can wiggle. He often wiggles his way off of his blanket before long.

Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July!! We spent the morning at the neighborhood party with the Midhas. Aniela's favorite part was the snow cones she got to eat! After nap we headed to the Proffitts party were Kevin put on quite the display of fireworks.

We have tomatoes!

Our tomatoes have finally ripened! We have about 25 tomatoes on our one plant and 6 were ripe enough to pull (we are still waiting on the rest). Not bad for our first attempt at gardening!

Thomas is getting very good at holding his head up. He enjoys tummy time for about 10 minutes then he gets tired.

We spent Saturday at Marbles since the high was expected to be 100! Aniela's favorite part was building the cars and racing them down the ramp.

Water Fountains

We tried to beat the heat on Thursday and headed up to the mall to have some fun in the fountains. Grace and Maddie had fun but Aniela was a bit fearful. She enjoyed standing off to the side and watching the kids play.
