Thanksgiving here we come!!

Aniela is all ready for Thanksgiving! At preschool they made a headdress, necklace and clothing. Her name was Bright Unicorn. She also made Thomas an Indian headdress and she named him Thomas the Train.

We enjoyed the last couple days outside in the nice weather! It was near 80 degrees so we tried to soak up every bit of warmth.

Halloween Hoot

We headed to the library for the Halloween Hoot! Aniela and Thomas loved looking at all the costumes and singing the songs. After they paraded around the library for treats.

Halloween Trail

We headed to Durant Nature Park with one of Aniela's classmates to do the Halloween Trail. It was a great event! They had a hay ride to take you to the trail, crafts, animals to see and skits all along the path. We took our flashlights and headed into the spooky forest! The kids loved it and enjoyed all the fun.

Seven Months

Seven months has brought some changes ... Sammy started sitting up on his own!! He is so happy to sit up and get a different view of his world. Of course, he also likes to suddenly fling himself backwards. It will be awhile until I take the pillows away. He has tried all kinds of vegetables and fruits and seems to like them all. We think he is getting big but according to the doctor, he is a peanut and is in the 0.5% He loves interacting with everyone especially Aniela and Thomas. We are looking forward to taking him home to PA this month to meet the rest of the family.

Seven Months Old

No more toothless grins :( I guess my baby is growing up! Thomas now has two teeth that have broken through. He is such a happy baby and just goes with the flow. He did great traveling home for Thanksgiving and loved all the attention! He has the best laugh I have ever heard and it warms my heart to hear it.

Thanksgiving Holiday

We spent Thanksgiving in Pennsylvania and had a great time visiting with family. Aniela especially enjoyed hanging out with all her cousins!

At Roba's Christmas Tree Farm. It was freezing cold but the kids had a blast looking at the animals and picking out their Christmas trees. Aniela got to pick out Grandma and Pop Fotta's tree. She was over the moon!

First Tooth

Thomas' first tooth finally broke through! It has been just under the surface for awhile but after some cranky days, it is finally through!

We bundled up and braved to cold to watch Santa light the Christmas tree ... okay it was only 50 degrees but it felt cold to us!

We spent a lot of time on the porch swinging since the weather has been so nice. Aniela loved being out there watching the cars go by and talking to all the people that were walking by.

Happy New Year!

We rang in the New Year at Holden Beach with friends. This was the seventh year we have spent New Years at the beach. The weather was gorgeous and we spent some time playing in the sand!
