Happy Easter

Not so easy to get a picture of a two year old, four year old and one month old!

Easter Pictures

Easter morning was so much fun! The kids woke up excited for their baskets. Aniela told us the Easter bunny uses his ear as a key to get into our house while we are sleeping. After tearing through their baskets they raced around to find the hidden eggs. Then we headed to church.

After church we went to the Arwood's house for lunch and another egg hunt. Thomas was not too excited about this egg hunt instead he collected the cornhole beanbags in his basket but Aniela was all business!

Easter Egg Hunt

We had the Easter Egg Hunt for the neighborhood on Saturday. Thomas loved the Easter Bunny and walked up to him at least 7 times. He would just stand in front of him and smile! It was very cute. Aniela took a bit longer to warm up to the idea of a 6 foot pink bunny wearing sneakers. The kids hunted for eggs, bounced in the bounce houses and held baby chicks. Neither one was too keen on riding the ponies. Sam enjoyed his time sleeping in the baby carrier.

The whole gang!

"Don't squeeze" was the first thing out of Dave's mouth!

Sibling Love

Aniela and Thomas love holding Sam. Aniela has been really good with him and very sweet. She tells me when he wakes up, when he is hungry and gets his passy for him if he is crying. Thomas shows Sam all the toys he is playing with. Both ask many times during the day to hold him.

Grandma & Pop's Visit

Grandma and Pop came for a visit to meet baby Sam. We had a great time with them! Aniela couldn't get enough snuggle time with Grandma and Thomas just wanted to play cars with Pop. Grandma and Pop got to see our new house and of course we couldn't let a visit go by without heading to World Market.

Thomas was not to happy about his haircut. But he stopped crying long enough to say cheese.

We also celebrated Aniela's 4th birthday and Thomas' 2nd while they were here. Grandma and Pop gave the kids an art easel!

As always it is sad to say goodbye...

Doesn't my mom have the prettiest eyes??

Just one more...

One of Thomas' favorite sayings is "just one more" for anything! He loves his Mickey rain boots so I took a picture and he kept saying "just one more cheese"

Warm Weather

We took advantage of the short-lived warm weather and met some friends at the park. Sophia and Aniela loved pushing their brothers on the swings and the boys just laughed and laughed!

We also headed out that night for a scavenger hunt with their flashlights. Aniela was looking for snakes and luckily didn't find any! Thomas was looking for anything and everything!

BIG BOY BED

Thomas made the big move to a twin bed this weekend! He looks so small compared to sleeping in his crib but he has been doing great! Of course he hasn't realized he can get out yet, he just waits for us to come get him ... at least not this week.

Packed with pillows and his favorite stuffed animals!

Thomas' Gym Class

Thomas started his first gym class this week! He loved all the equipment especially the slide and the "mountain" of mats to climb up. His favorite circle time activity was shaking the parachute.

New Year's Eve

We broke from our 10 year tradition and spent New Year's in Raleigh instead of the beach. We decided to check out First Night in downtown Raleigh with the Hensleys. It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed the parade, the hula hoop girl and the fireworks. They did an early countdown for kids and we watched the acorn drop.

Christmas Morning

Aniela and Thomas had a great time tearing into their presents! Aniela thought any package with an "A" even if it was in the middle of Thomas was for her.

Santa was here! Santa was here!

Trucks were the hit of the day

They also had a lot of fun opening the presents at Grandma and Grandpa's house! Thomas got a kick out of crawling through the discarded wrapping paper.
