We broke from our 10 year tradition and spent New Year's in Raleigh instead of the beach. We decided to check out First Night in downtown Raleigh with the Hensleys. It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed the parade, the hula hoop girl and the fireworks. They did an early countdown for kids and we watched the acorn drop.
